What should we get our parents as a gift for help out with our wedding?

Our parents have helped us with our wedding plans, logistics, costs, and have just been great helping us with our wedding plans. We have a budget of 600 bucks total for both gifts , what is a good gift idea.

  1. YES!!! They should be treated with the same kindness you would treat anyone who did a great favor in preping for this major event, meaning they should get a hand written thank you note along with a gift that is within your means.

and my favorite gift is a gift certificate. at $250 a peice they should be very happy indeed.

  2. Give your parents an anniversary party and start a yearly or every five year tradition.

  3. What about their very own copy of your Wedding Album?

  4. John Chalinder Montana USA

LOL, in my experience, the best gift you can give your parents is grandchildren… but, they are not cheap…

  5. how bout a spa day gift? a day of relaxation and massage for all the stress in planning a wedding!!!

  6. How about a night out in Vegas? They have some really inexpensive package deals that include meals, rooms, flight, etc.? Or, if Vegas isn’t their style, how about a night at a very nice hotel near you. One with fine dining or a dinner show? Do they like the theater or the opera? It all depends on your parents likes and dislikes.

I’d also like to say THANKS for thinking of mom and dad. They so often get overlooked…**sniff sniff**

  7. Not knowing your families, I think it should be something that has a special meaning to both parents. It really isn’t about money, so much as knowing they were great help getting you both through all of the stressful planning and such.

I think starting a photo album, pre-wedding, wedding and post wedding would be loved.

What are some of their favorite ways to spend their time? Would they enjoy a dinner theater? Are they gamblers, would Vegas be something they would enjoy? Perhaps a weekend at the lake or resort for fishing and relaxing?

    You’ll figure it out.

  8. A dinner at one of your favorite restaurants would be nice.

  9. grand children.. its what they really want
