   This crappy camera arrived broken. Every picture has a wad of lines and halos, which no amount of cleaning and reading the manual will fix. What a rip off!!!

   Pros:
   
   * Effective 12.1 MP is great
   
   * Everything a point & shoot should do

   Cons:
   
   * Main gripe = If you take a portrait picture, when you play/preview it back, the camera does not automatically rotate the picture. The last Sony digi-cam I had (W220, discontinued & a step below), rotated pictures automatically. With this camera, with a portrait pic, you have to press Menu, scroll down to 5 buttons to find the rotate function & manually do it yourself.
   
   * Lens is not Carl Zeiss.

   It’s a very easy to use camera and takes very good pictures;
   
   I can take wide angle pictures from close range and don’t leave anybody out
   
   specially when you have a large family. I’m satisfied.

   We purchased this camera for our workplace. It is quite thin for your pocket, yet is a 12 mega-pixel with 4x optical zoom. I really like that this camera can use SD memory cards, as well as Memory Stick. When I used it, it worked fine. So I would recommend this camera.

   It also comes with the Sony PMB photo management software, which I have used with my Sony DSC-SX63 flash camcorder as well. Nice for organizing photos and films.

   This is not a waterproof camera. I would go for the Sony DSC-TX5 for that.
