You can absolutely get married outdoors... we had our own wedding in a public park, under a floral arbor (part of the park) which served as our chuppah.   There is no rule in Judaism that says you have to get married in a synagogue, or indoors at all.  So long as you have valid witnesses, a ring, a ketubah, and say the required statements, you&#039;re married!</description>
