My girlfriend (JustDeniece) would like to have a Spiderman 3 theme wedding. Because it is the greatest movie ever made and she is marrying the greatest woman in the world.

Me (Angel4u) would prefer to have a white wedding, nothing big, very simple, but white. Because white represents heaven and I am eternely in love with an angel JustDeniece.

Please vote for which you prefer and explain why. We are open for other themes you might think of.

   white wedding,its pretty. not only that but 10 years from now you may not like spiderman 3. does spiderman really sound like soemthing for a wedding?

   Well, this is definately a unique question…as I’m trying to think of how you would have a specifically spiderman 3 themed wedding….I don’t know exactly how much merchandise was created for it. I also didn’t get to see the 3rd movie yet…but….why not just go for the obvious and compromise. Do a combo…I would say mostly white, with some spiderman 3 accents….and perhaps have some cardboard cutouts of the leading ladies, wrap them in white and give them halo’s and wings. A spiderman cutout with wings as well…….as wedding favors….get a bunch of the spiderman pez dispensers and tie white ribbon and flowers around them. I don’t know…perhaps this requires a bit more thought than I had anticipated.

   Neither…your marriage should be against the Law. Marriage is between man and woman. If you want to sign a letter of agreement, fine. But not a marriage under God. It clearly is not permitted if you are a Christian. Have any theme you want but it will not be recognized by God…but you know this already. Why do you need a “marriage” any how. why do you want God’s blessing for a sin. Does it make sense that he would give it?

   I can’t imagine a Spiderman themed wedding! I haven’t seen the 3rd Spiderman but I’d still vote for white. Maybe you could acknowledge your girlfriend’s love for spiderman with some red in the wedding decorations?

   Why not have the wedding in white with a Spiderman wedding cake (or reversed). If you marry on Halloween you can make it a costume ball after the ceremony… Heterosexuals have their own wedding traditions, and now gays and lesbians are out of the closets trying to establish our wedding traditions, too.

   My wife and I had our lesbian wedding in black and red because that’s our favorite colors.

   I would cast my vote for the wedding in white, and nothing big, simple, because I think a wedding is a moment to last a lifetime, and it is tender, solumn and loving statement of undying love and devotion, each partner to the other. White is a symbol of purity, purity of love, it is the color of heaven, it is the mother of all the other colors, because all life comes from the mother, and white is the color of life too, whatever one’s skin color is, and since white is the color of heaven, it is the color of eternity, because love is eternal, it crosses over with you when it is time to leave this life.

   Nothing big, very simple, because such a step, such a deep and emotionally powerful statement of love and commitment is best if made in a more intimate setting, as opposed to a hall with lots of people, and it’s all about love and not as so many people think, about the ceremony and the details and decor and all.

   It’s about you and the love of your life, two hearts becoming one. Forever.

   Perhaps you can incorporate the two themes somehow. (I am not quite sure how.) Although, you don’t necessarily have to blend the two (since that sounds quite difficult), just find a compromise. Compromise will also be valuable in maintaining a happy marriage, so its good to practice now. By the way, congrats on your wedding!!! I’m sure it will be lovely.    First off shouldn’t it be my girlfriend and I?
   More importantly shouldn’t it be “my boyfriend and I”.

   I suspect you are going to be real confused when you try to conceive a baby.

   Anybody who is under the age of 25 or 26 is probably too young to be married. With the divorce rate 50% or higher somebody surely is doing something wrong. I bet age has a lot to do with it.

   My theme suggestion would be a heterosexual wedding with a man.

    LOL, this is great! I love both ideas! The Spiderman 3 theme is so damn cute….I can see she is a kid at heart.

    The white wedding is more grown up, but that’s not a bad thing…..it’s sweet and sincere.

    I’m going to have to go with the Spiderman 3, because it’s very original for a wedding. It makes it unique and fun. Your guests should be very entertained! Not in bad way either. You could have a lot of fun with it, without it being cheesy.

    As for an additional theme, a Hawaii theme is always fun. I went to a straight couple’s wedding, it was at a park with a Hawaii theme. Every one wore Hawaii shirts and stuff. They put sand in the grass. They had tiki torches….the stuff at the reception center was all Hawaii based…did I mention Hawaii? Lol. Congrats!!!

    I like the idea of a white wedding. It’s classic and sophisticated, but not overwhelming. as far as a spider man 3 theme….I think not. There are other movies that are much better then that. I did like Spider man 3, but I don’t think it qualifies as the greatest movie ever.

    you can have your white wedding, except with spiderwebs on everything! not Real spiderwebs mind you. those fake ones.

    and if your g/f isn’t pleased, then compromise and she can go as spiderman or mary jane or whatever.

    To the positive ppl with intelligent answers..We thank you from the bottom of our hearts…AndYES I am abig kid at heart..life ,work,family,friends,can be stressful..It never hurt anybody to try to put a smile on someone’s face. I take my realationship with Angel4U very serious …Also the life we will spend together….But, however I am a BIG Superman fan and was thinking that ..wat if and we were curious wat other’s thought.Our wedding will be ..unbelivable and magical…any advice we get we will talk them out together …thank you for ur surpport

    White would suit me because I am a traditionalist.
    When Gwenneth and I made our vows, we had just finished putting the furniture in our residence which we were purchasing. My family were there as we had planned a house warming. We were in our working clothes and apart from a brief tidy up the meal was come as you are. We promised to love and care for each other, to be honest and faithful.
    We remained that way for 42 years until her death.
    However your wedding goes, I can wish you no more than my beloved Gwenneth and I shared but with never ending happiness.

    I’m sorry, but I think having a wedding based on a movie — any movie — is unwise. Think about a different movie you absolutely adored 5 years ago. Would you want to be looking at wedding pictures in that costume or with that theme? Remembering odd looks or comments? You might consider a second celebration. A number of people in the SCA do this (medieval role-playing society), have a traditional wedding for their family, then an SCA wedding in costume. Or you could integrate a song from the soundtrack somehow. More than that’s just odd, I’m afraid.

    You’re lucky to have such an adventurous girl. But Spidey-3 is too out there for my taste, keep in mind it’s your wedding not mine though. In my opinion, the simple white wedding would be nicer.

    I don’t think ANY kind of a “wedding” between two girls (or two men!) would be an appropriate thing to do. Weddings are for a MAN and WIFE! No amount of same-sex lust can join same-sex couples in “holy matrimony”. A civil union document, without all the fanfare, should suffice!

    Wow! congrats, but let me tell you that you can both be satisfied. Ok, ready? This is totaly gona rock your world, ok, how about a whit theme wedding but waite, You do know how spider webs are white right? Ok, why not make a web cake, web dress or tux. And or web decorations. It might not be spiderman but atleast it’s close enuph. well good luck i hope in what ever you decide, yu have a long relationship together.
